Singing in the Tub

This is Finley in the tub last night. She's big into singing these days, and as you can see, her faves are "Sally the Camel" and "ABC's". This morning at church, the Sunday Schoolers sang "Jesus Loves Me" and Finley stood up and started singing with. I cried it was so cute! She's also a big reader and today she walked around the house reciting "Brown Bear, Brown Bear". She's still very into her art. When we read one of her favorites, "Make Van Gogh's Bed", she pretends to eat the peaches and cherries in Cezanne's still life. She came to school the other day to see my kids' art show and when she saw my easel, she said, "That's mine! What's that doing here?" She also is really practicing her counting. She counts EVERYTHING! On the way home from school, she counts the cars that we see (or at least until she gets to about 17, then she starts over). Besides learning and growing, she's definitely into acting two. We spent all afternoon outside today - mom finally got all her plants potted and the sticks burned - and as you can see she forgot to wipe her hands off before trying to eat a chip. She was quite the mischief-maker and after I planted my rosemary, Finley proceeded to pick it out and run away with it. Tonight, she was being naughty so I said she had to stop or go to bed. She marched right into bed and stayed there until she realized I wasn't coming after her.
