Mommy went to Austin, Texas, for 4 days for a conference and came back to find an injured Finners. I guess while away, Finley fell on the pavement and skinned her face. The scabs are starting to fall off now and I've been neosporin-ing it often. It doesn't seem to bother her, so that's good. While away, I was able to visit my college roommate, Allison, and, except for the time spent in the actual meetings I had to attend, I had a blast. Lots of Mexican food and Amy's ice cream and swimming. It had been 3 years since I'd been to Texas, so it was kind of like coming home after a long time. I found the cutest onesie at the music store Al works at and Finley loves to feel the design (it's felt). It was so great to see her again after my mini-vacation. She's so funny. Her new thing is to play in her bathtub seat with her bath toys - but not in the bathtub!

Poor, tough little Finley! It breaks my heart to see her all scraped up. Then I remind myself of all the accidents you kids endured.....She is still as adorable as ever, and I can't wait to wrap my arms around her and love her up! Glad Mom had a good visit with Allison. Love and miss you all!
Oh my gosh! I thought it was pudding in the first picture. And then I looked at the second pic and thought,"How did she get the pudding in the exact same spot?" and "Doesn't her mother ever wipe off her face?" And then I realized it was a terrible, terrible injury! Oh Finley, you are so tough. Sadie really wants to see you and misses you tons!
