Sorry it's been so long! First, our computer had a virus and was out for a week. Then, I had a virus and was out for a week! I know you have all been in Finley withdrawal, as a result. While we were out of commission, Finners turned 11 months. Of Finley's new tricks, my favorite is actually an old trick she just keeps building on. I think I've mentioned before about how much Finley loves hats and how she touches her head when she sees a person with a hat or a hood on. Now, she's starting to take our hats off and put them on her head. Today, when I picked her up from daycare, she clearly tried to say "hat" as she put my hat on her head. She didn't quite get the "t" sound down, but she definitely got the "ha". She also CLEARLY said "Mom!" for the first time after I gave her a small taste of cookie dough, then took it away so I could eat some more. She really liked the cookie dough.
As for the pictures, you can see that Finners is really getting some hair. This shows a picture of Finley after she walked around the living room for 45 minutes with her hat on (I'm telling you - she loves them!). She's also giving one of her famous "krusties". The ladies at daycare told me they are going to start taking lessons from Finley on how to look disgusted. I told them she gets it from Dale, although now that I think about it, she could have picked it up from Auntie Megan just as easily (JK!). Finley also loves playing with the toy Great Grandma Joyce and Great Grandpa Bud gave her for Christmas. It shoots balls out the top and she laughs and laughs and catches them and tries to put them back in. She's very smart and has figured out how to put other things down the tube, like pens, too! And finally, Finley is really digging her blankies. She walks all over the house with one of her blankies tagging behind her or between her legs. She's like a little Linus. It's so cute! We can't wait to see what the final month of her first year brings...

there might be something in the mail for you, to celebrate a certain 1st year!
love you baby!
Finner, It,s your Great Grandma Grandpa Judy and Bob, writing from Florida. Sure am glad to finally see you again. Just got our computor hooked up. Really happy to see you well and happy again. Keepthe pictures coming.
Sadie loves "crusty Finners" and laughed and laughed at "that crazy hair!" Hope the Daddys have fun babysitting tomorrow night while the moms are hard at work...
Just for the record, Finley's Grandpa Kevin had (and still has) a thing for hats and caps! Maybe that explains a bit of their mutual admiration society? Anyway, she is SOO FUN. Can't wait to see her again....Hugs and love!
