Here's poor
Finners, at her best (ha ha). She had her first sick day on Thursday. After a week of getting notes from day care that said, "She wasn't quite herself today," she finally broke down with a fever and the runniest nose I've ever seen. She was running a slight fever, and I was a bit fed up with my students at school anyway, so we decided to take Thursday off and see if some rest would help her. She spent a lot of the day dripping snot all over me and the furniture, so we snuggled her up for story time early and hoped a good night's rest would help make Friday a better day. Unfortunately, she spent the ENTIRE night crying and it didn't matter what we did, so, after only 3 hours of sleep, I called in sick again today. She only took one short nap all day today, so here's to hoping she'll sleep through the night tonight! Isn't that a recurring theme throughout these blogs...?

Dear Finley,
As someone who has been surviving day care for three and a half years, now, I really empathize with you. I had a cough and snot-nose last year for six weeks with no help from doctors. I have also had double-ear infection, and last year I got pink eye three times. You can do this, girl. Get some rest, and let your mom and dad sleep too. I want you to get better so you will come back to Kids Count and PLAY!
Love, Sades
oooooo..I hope she is feeling better!
Love and snotty nosed kisses. grandma...
still a ham even when she isn't feeling well.
Oh, poor Finley...get better soon, little chica. Colds are no fun. Good that you have two fantastic parents to take care of you.
