Well, it becomes more and more apparent that our little Finley is one smart cookie! After taking her to the doctor for her 4-year well-child visit, Dr. Noll told me she was ready for kindergarten today. The doctor we took her to for her sleep issues told us with very raised eyebrows that he hoped she "uses her smarts for good not evil," when he looked at her IQ results. I was pretty sure she was gifted before, but then she put together the California puzzle from Auntie Paige and Auntie Nanny all by herself and I pretty much knew for sure. She is definitely a creative thinker. She drew the "Towaukee" over and over for a day and it always looked the same. She told us a "towaukee" is a "tornado and snowstorm mixed that happens in the hot lava of the earth." She also helped Daddy make a MN pizza. She certainly gets a wide variety of influences on her with her geography Dad, artist Mom and Uncle, and scientist Auntie living with her. This village is NOT raising an idiot, that's for sure!
