Baby's First Picture

Here is Baby at 21 weeks! Yesterday, we had a a second ultrasound because at the first one they thought the baby had a "prominent stomach" and my placenta was covering my uterus. Luckily, we had great news and everything is normal for both baby and Mommy. Since we got to have one step up in quality, we were able to get this 3-D image of Baby and even a DVD of the whole ultrasound. It's pretty unbelievable. Mommy and Daddy can't believe how much this baby looks like Finley did in her ultrasound. Even though we only had a 2-D picture of Finners, they have the EXACT same profile. I guess we know this baby is going to be super cute, then!

A Beautiful Day in April

Happy Easter!

Finley was cute as pie on Easter Sunday. When she woke up, she saw Sadie looking for her Easter basket and wanted to join in. Of course, Mommy was still putting the "basket" together while they were searching but when she found it, Finley said, "OOOHHH MY GOOOSSSSHHHH!" She got a new swimsuit, 40 Years of Sesame Street DVD, a necklace, an Elmo toy, and a Pez dispenser from the Easter Bunny. I don't know how the Easter Bunny got so smart, but Mommy, Auntie, and Daddy are enjoying the dvd as much as Finley is!

After getting ready for church (Thanks for the cute hair-do, Auntie Megan, and the adorable dress, Grandma Julie!), we all got in the car and drove to Waseca where we spent Easter with Grandma and Grandpa, Great Grandpa Bud, and Mommy's cousins, Miranda and Rebecca. Of course, the Easter Bunny knew we were coming there, too, because the girls got another basket.

All that Easter celebrating must have worn Finley out because she came down with another double-ear infection and stayed home from school 3 days, missing the grand opening of her new school. Dr. Noll said she must have been MISERABLE because her ears looked so bad. We're all hoping her tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy does her some good in less than a month.
