Auntie Annie and Uncle Luke's LOOOOONNNNGGGG visit ;)

Here are a few pics from last weekend when Auntie Annie and Uncle Luke came Friday night and didn't leave until Sunday night. We had so much fun playing in the pool of balls. Auntie Annie liked them so much she even slept there a couple of times! All that playing must have really tuckered Finley out because she almost fell asleep at brunch after church on Sunday. Her sleepiness must have been contagious, because so did Sadie. Don't worry, though. She fell asleep for about 10 minutes on the drive home, but woke up the second we got home and didn't go to sleep until after the gang left around 8. She didn't want to miss out on anything!
P.S. I had to throw in a picture of Finley eating her favorite food, edamame, for dinner tonight. It's too cute. Also, for some reason, blogger isn't letting me upload any more pictures, but I will get them up when the computer decides it wants to work.

Finley Post-Mom's Surgery

While Mom has been recouping, Finley has been enjoying the good life of having someone tend to her every need at any given moment. Since Mom isn't supposed to lift more than 5 - 10 pounds for the first week, we enlisted the help of family. Finley got to have Grandma and Grandpa Peterson watch her on Wednesday, Auntie Annie on Thursday, Grandma Julie on Friday through Sunday, with a visit from Uncle Josh and Auntie Jill thrown in for fun! Tomorrow, Finners gets to play with Grandma Brenda, Auntie Megan, and Cousin Sadie. Mom has been very tired since getting her ear worked on and still can't hear a thing, but her balance is getting better and every day is a little more comfortable. Finley will be very glad when the big, white band-aid comes off the ear!
P.S. Yesterday, Finley wanted to sit on the potty. She passed some gas a few times and I cheered every time. She kept pushing and wouldn't get off the pot, so I walked into the living room. When I came back a second later, she was kind of frantic, yelling for a diaper. I looked on the floor and there was a little turd! She almost made it in the potty, but got scared. As the night went on, every time we walked by the bathroom, Finley would point and say, "I toot on the floor!"
