Happy Hail Day!

Finley started the day in her SanFranny gear (Haight Ashbury onesie and ladybug rain boots) since it rained last night and the yard was nice and wet. However, the sun came out and heated up the place quite quickly, so she and her cousin spent the beautiful, sunny day in our back yard, enjoying the new pool Cam bought. Mom got a sunburn, but the girls were adequately sun-screamed (as Sadie calls it). Then, minutes after Sadie left, a tornado warning fell upon us - as well as some marble-sized hail! Thankfully, we are unscathed and ready to enjoy a beautiful day tomorrow.

A Few Wedding Pics to Tide You Over

Here's our precious flower girl, thanks to the cameras of Great Uncle Scott and "Auntie" Jess. We couldn't tear that bottle out of her hand for the walk down the aisle, but don't worry - after reading in Us Weekly about the "controversy" surrounding Suri Cruise and her unnecessary attachment to her bottle at the age of 2, we put the kibosh on the bottle and she hasn't had one since!

More for your Finners Fix!

I'm doing my best to make up for my lack of blogging in the recent past, so here are some pictures from the day before Josh and Jill's wedding. It was a beautiful weekend - warm enough to go swimming at the outdoor pool! Of course, Finley was scared to death - especially when Grandpa Tim tried to dump her in the pool! (JK.) My favorite pic of the night is of Finley and Auntie Tracy. She saw some similarities between her big, round tummy and Tracy's 7 months pregnant belly!

Happy Eater!

I know it's been a long time since blogging, but we have been BUSY! Of course, we had Josh and Jill's fun wedding, but we're waiting for Auntie and Uncle to settle in after their big day and honeymoon so they can send us the great pictures of our little flowergirl. In the meantime, Finners has been having a blast growing older. Her biggest trick now is eating by herself. As you can see from the pics, it is taking her some practice, but she's getting better and better. Now that summer is drawing near (only 6 days left of work!), I'm sure you'll be seeing more blogs than you will ever want!

Uncle Shaner's New Camera

Auntie Nikki and I were lucky enough to have a "girl's day out" this afternoon, while Uncle Shane and Cam watched Finners. Nikki and I went to the greatest craft fair at the Uptown VFW and got all sorts of great ideas for summer projects. Shaner used his new camera to take some fantastic photos of our little Finley when we got back. Mommy got Finners some "new", green clothes - recycled out of old t-shirts and such and had her put on a little style show. She's just too adorable.
