Here are the extra Easter pics I promised. As you can see, Cam comes home from Grandma and Grandpa's more exhausted than Finley! The girls keep him busy, that's for sure, and Grandma doesn't help matters by giving Finley all the cookies and sweets she ever wanted. But, as Cam says, that's what Grandmas are supposed to do. Aren't our eggs beautiful? Sadie sure thought so - especially when I put a spell on the egg and magically made it spell out her name (a la wax resist ;)

Hi, Dad?
She loves to play with her cellphone and call her "Da". We went to Grandma and Grandpa's this weekend and she came back saying, "Ga" and "s-dee". She worships the ground Sadie walks on and had to do everything she did. I think Sadie started to get a little worn out with all the worshipping. Finley even had to be part of the Easter Egg-dying action. She actually did a better job than her mommy, who broke 2 Easter eggs, did! She also had to literally push and climb her way into my lap when she got jealous that it was being occupied by her cousin. It was pretty funny. More Easter pictures to come...

Finley's First Masterpiece!
Cam remembered on Saturday that Uncle Josh and Auntie Jill had given Finners some crayons and a big notepad for Christmas, so we dug it out and let her to it. As you can see, she made her first, beautiful work of art. Cam was sure to keep it, so when she's a famous artist one day, we can honestly say that we have her very first work of art. We also have some beautiful artwork of hers on her white shoes and the coffee table :) I'm actually beginning to wonder if Finley isn't going to be a famous drummer, or an athlete of some sorts. She's so darn strong! She loves to get in the corner cupboard where the pots and pans are. She takes every big one out and literally throws them across the kitchen. She also loves to throw her bath toys over the ledge of the tub and put her hands up like, "Where'd it go!?" OH! And, today, I watched Finley be naughty at daycare for the first time (the watching was the first time, I'm sure she's been plenty naughty before today!). When I walked in, she ran to the corner and another little girl was playing with a lawnmower. Finley pushed the little girl down and tried to take the lawn mower. I said, "Finley!" and she looked at me with puppy dog eyes and said, "Uh-oh!" That little stinker!

Gimme Five!
Finley's new trick at 12 1/2 months is to "Gimme five!" If you say it to her, she slaps your hand over and over and laughs. She still HATES getting her diaper changed - by us, anyway. She lays perfectly still for the daycare ladies. She also still loves music and was lucky enough to get a personal kid concert by my cousin Paul at my Uncle Terry's birthday party last Sunday. I also had to add the cutest picture from the other day. I was in the kitchen and Finley walked into the living room. She was awfully quiet, so I came around the corner to peek in on her. She was sitting in her Elmo chair reading a book and drinking a bottle, content as can be. She thinks she's such a big girl now that she has her own chair!
