The wedding has come and gone, and now Uncle Luke is officially Uncle Luke. We have some wonderful pictures as memories from the beautiful weekend. Great Grandma Laven looks like she's in heaven with Finley in her arms. Uncle Josh and soon to be Auntie Jill finally got a picture with their niece. Finley was a pure angel the whole weekend. She slept through the night for cousin Tina while Mommy and Daddy had a little too much fun at the party, and when she came back Sunday morning, she had cut her first tooth! She's also working VERY hard at getting up on her hands and knees to crawl. She'll be a mobile baby sooner than we know, I'm sure. I'll post more wedding pictures in the days to come to give you all something new to look at!

Busy Bees
Finley has been a very busy bee lately. Last weekend, we celebrated Great Grandma B.'s 88th birthday party. It was a surprise and we had so much fun. Finley was a perfect angel all day long. Earlier in the week, Grandma Julie returned from Canada and stayed with us for several days. She brought Finley a book with Eskimos. Finley loves it - especially when her Daddy reads it to her. It makes her daddy and mommy cry to read it, though! We also have been having lots of fun with Sadie this week. While Auntie Megan was getting training for school, Finley and I stayed at Megan's and then Sadie came to our house and had a slumber party here. We went to the pool, made chocolate chip cookies, went to Target, took a walk, played dress up, and watched movies. I got to fully experience what it was like to have 2 kids. Needless to say, I'm tired.

Pool Day!
Well, after our long weekend vacation, Finley and I couldn't sit around for long, so we joined Auntie Megan and Cousin Sadie at the pool in Savage on Wednesday. Sadie was so excited to have Finners (as she calls her) there to watch her do her tricks. She made Megan sit with Finley facing outward just so she could see Sadie swim like a mermaid and spin in circles under the water. Finley loved sitting in the water, which was a lovely warm, yet refreshing, temperature due to a new heater in the pool. Finn fell asleep, but not for long - she woke up after only 45 minutes and didn't take another nap ALL DAY LONG! I wonder if she was afraid we wouldn't be there when she woke up if she fell asleep...?

San Francisco
OK, so I know you all are checking this to see pictures of Finley, but I didn't think you'd mind getting this picture of Cam and I on our vacation. We had a BLAST, as usual. This is a picture we took on the first full day there. We rented these crazy little cars and drove around the city. We were actually driving on city streets with all the cars and everything! We were like celebreties. People would point and take pictures of us. It was very fun. We saw a great Ani concert later that night. Finley got a new onesie, so that will be coming later, I'm sure; but most importantly, Cam got a really great Ani t-shirt. We thought it was the coolest ever, but when he tried it on the next day, we discovered it was really a girl's shirt. We joked that it really helped him fit in in the great city of San Fran. I don't know if anyone outside of San Francisco will see it, though ;) Anyway, we had a fantastic time, but naturally, we were very excited to see our baby when we got home. I think she's having a little bit of a challenging time adjusting to not being held ALL THE TIME! Thanks a lot, Grandma ;)

For Scall!
Here's Finley in a darling little summer dress that my college roomie and best bud, Allison, gave her. It is a sweet little Laura Ashley jumper with some crocheted flowers on the hem. As you can see, it looks super fly with her crocheted slippers from Target Boutique. She might just be the best dressed baby I know. Thanks, Al!

For Luke and Annie
Here are two pictures from Auntie Annie and Uncle Luke's visit last week. Finley loves her Korean frog. It helps when she's practicing sitting up, which she is getting pretty good at these days. She used to tip forward everytime I let go. Now, she stays straight up and down but just tips to the sides after a few seconds. Yesterday, she did some major creeping to get to her binky. Then, after moving forward a few creeps, she started going backward and couldn't remember how to go forward again. I was just saving my old pictures to cds this morning and couldn't believe how different Finley looks from when she was just a few weeks home. The first time Annie came to visit, she was a completely different person - she didn't look anything like she does now. People always say it goes by too fast and it couldn't be more true. Thankfully, we are able to recognize that and appreciate every little moment...like right now, when she's screaming in the living room because she rolled over and forgot how to roll back ;)
